Ekokook is a concept kitchen system that designed by Faltazi, a French design house, that grew up from an experimental approach of the kitchen analysis. The designers said that the place for prepare and store foods also a place that generates all kinds of pollution. So to solve that problem Ekokook uses three built-in micro-processing systems. First for recycle of organic kitchen waste, second for reuse of water and third for processes solid materials.
All non-organic waste split into five separate units. Number one for glass, number two for paper, number three for plastics, number four for metals and number five for miscellaneous waste, and all will be further processed. This kitchen can reduce 15 litres (4 US gallons) of water every day because to wash dishes and vegetables can be recycled through a particle filter and then this water can be used to irrigate the herbs and plants.
These concept sounds simple, clean and modern that uses new technologies to solve our problems. A mixture of green and silver design makes Ekokook is a breathtaking green kitchen design which is blend of high technology and natural harmonization.
